On the occasion of National Doctor’s Day, a special program was organized at Crayon International School on 1st July, where students paid heartfelt tribute and expressed gratitude towards doctors. The main highlights of the event were a dance-drama and a health-related exhibition.
The program commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony followed by a welcome speech. A deeply moving dance-drama titled “Jeevan Data” was then performed by the students, which emotionally resonated with the audience. Through this act, students portrayed how doctors selflessly fulfill their duties under all circumstances, without any personal gain.
Additionally, a health exhibition on the theme “Diseases and Their Prevention” was set up in the school premises. It showcased symptoms, causes, and preventive measures for various diseases such as heart ailments, diabetes, dengue, typhoid, and malaria through informative charts, illustrations, and models. The objective of this exhibition was to raise awareness about health among students and parents.
Mr. K.K. Upadhyay, the Director of the school, praised the invaluable contribution of doctors, calling them the true heroes of society.
Principal Dr. Varsha Shiju remarked, “Doctors provide not just physical and mental healing but also spiritual comfort. We salute their dedication, service, and courage.”
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Upendra Vastrakaar, Dr. Abhinav Jain, Dr. Savita Barkud, Dr. Anamika Jain, and school directors Mr. Sandeep Upadhyay and Mrs. Deepika Upadhyay.
This celebration served as an inspiring initiative to instill values of service, awareness, and gratitude in the students.
